About Us

Why "Recycled" Teenagers?

It's never too late to start over!  We all have our inner teens that eager for the second chance, to redo or restart what we left in the past, or simply seeking the reasons to move on.  We may have taken a detour but nothing in our lives is wasted,  Just like recycling.  We are recycling those experiences into something positive and stronger.  Yoga does help us to find our core centre, recover from the physical and emotional injuries, and rediscover your true self.  There is no one who cannot do yoga.  No one needs to be young, fit, and flexible to start yoga, and certainly is not too old or has too many physical issues to newly start or restart yoga.  We all are already enough, because yoga is about the process of making space in and peace with your body and mind.  It is about the journey of rediscovering, accepting, and loving ourselves unconditionally, and Yoga for Recycled Teenagers would love to assist the journey.

How Meditation Can Help You

Meditation is a practice of mind-body stillness.  It enhances self-awareness/observation and mindfulness.  A still mind regulates negative emotions/sensations.  A still mind is a clearing mind that has a good memory, learns the different perspective of aroused emotions, acknowledges and responds calmly to the triggers, and notices that you are not what you feel.  Through meditation, you will improve the emotional quality.

See the Difference

Yoga is a practice of oneness.  It unites your body and mind, awareness and deep consciousness, and physical and subtle bodies.  Through the practice of postures and breathing, your body will learn to be in the meditative state.  Each asana is a meditation, and slow still and mindful movement will enhance the coordination and balance of your body-mind-breath, steadiness of your centre core, focus of your mind.
